Dwight Hinson (’98 sociology) has been inducted into the Glen Brand Wrestling Hall of Fame. Hinson wrestled for Iowa State University from 1993 to 1998, where he was a four-time NCAA All-American and a three-time Big 8/Big 12 Conference Champion.
Hinson joined Iowa State’s police department in 1999 where he worked as a student liaison, drug task force officer, defense tactics instructor, and an engagement and inclusion officer. In 2021, he left the police division and joined Iowa State’s Office of Equal Opportunity as an EO investigator and specialist.
