Graduate research assistant leads talk at soil and water conference

Maggie Norton, a graduate assistant in the Department of Sociology, was a speaker at the 2019 Soil and Water Conservation Society Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in July. Her presentation, “Water Scarcity in a Water-rich State: Northwest Iowa’s Groundwater Challenges and the Potential for Collaborative Governance,” was one of the most well-attended sessions at the conference.
