Bio

Robert Mazur is Professor of Sociology specializing in international development. He served as Founding Director of ISU’s Center for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods, Visiting Professor at universities in Zimbabwe, South Africa, and India, and consultant for international organizations and foundations. His primary research interests are decision making strategies for rural livelihood innovation, food security and sustainability. His recent USAID-funded Feed the Future Innovation Lab multidisciplinary research projects focus on: agriculture, livelihoods and health in Uganda and Rwanda; and improved soil fertility management in Uganda and Mozambique.
