Katie Williams

Katie graduated in 2016 and is currently a Graduate Program Coordinator at the University of Kansas. Katie believes the major’s sociology courses have helped her develop working relationships with customers and students. Her advice to current students is to “Find a couple of careers that interest you and explore them. You may be surprised where you end up.”

Bonnie Anderson

Bonnie Anderson graduated from Iowa State University in Public Service and Administration in Agriculture (PSA) and Dairy Science in 1990. Living in Maquoketa, Iowa, she is now the owner of ExecutiveAg Recruiting Advisors Inc, working to pair individuals with agricultural employers. In addition, Bonnie farms livestock and crops with her spouse.

Trey Forsyth

Trey is a 2017 graduate of Agriculture and Society and Agricultural Economics at Iowa State. He now works in Washington D.C. as the Senior Manager of Federal and Industry Affairs for Land O’ Lakes. He spends his workdays lobbying on behalf of Land O’ Lakes and farmers and does a lot of grassroots advocacy.

Mitch Hayek

Mitch graduated in 2007 from Iowa State and received his Bachelor’s degree in Public Service and Administration in Agriculture. He then continued his education at Iowa State and graduated in 2009 with a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration. Mitch is currently located in West Des Moines and works as Program and Policy Manager for Corporate Food Safety, Quality Assurance (FSQA).

Cynthia Hamlett

Cynthia Hamlett graduated in the Spring of 2021 with an Agriculture in Society Degree. Now, Cynthia is a Farmer Relations Manager and Midwest Dairy and Associate Director the the Iowa State Dairy Association. She found her current position through an internship she had while studying at Iowa State University. She currently resides in Nevada, Iowa.

Cori Schuller

Cori Schuller graduated from ISU with a degree in Public Service Administration in 1987. She has dabbled in many career paths, and is currently working in Human Resources as a Program Manager for Integrity Marketing Group. her road to her current occupation was anything but a straight path, but she was ale to learn more with each position held. Raised in Iowa, she now resides in Texas.
