Shawn Dorius receives $150,000 grant

Shawn Dorius, professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice, and Iowa State alumna Kelsey Van Selous, program manager and research scientist at the Public Science Collaborative, received a $150,000, one-year award from the Prevention Technology Transfer Center Network. Dorius will use the funding to update and expand seven substance use monitoring systems in Iowa and develop two new systems in the four-state region aimed at reducing substance-related harms.
