Shawn Dorius, associate professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice, has been selected to participate in the 2024-25 cohort of Iowa State University’s Emerging Leaders Academy (ELA). ELA is an academic-year initiative to prepare faculty and professional and scientific staff who serve in leadership roles or aspire to hold leadership positions.
ELA is a highly selective, competitive award that requires candidates to be nominated, apply, collect letters of support, and then be evaluated by a review/selection committee.
