Shawn Dorius—Designing Substance Use Prevention Strategies with Integrated Local Data Systems

Dr. Shawn Dorius, professor of Sociology and Demography, and co-PI Dr. Kelsey Van Selous received a $150,000, one-year award from the Prevention Technology Transfer Center Network. Dorius will use the funding to update and expand seven substance use monitoring systems in Iowa and develop two new systems in the four-state region aimed at reducing substance-related harms.
