Shawn Dorius awarded grant to improve recovery outcomes

Shawn Dorius, associate professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice, received a $360,000 grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration, a division of the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services.
Dorius will use the funding to develop and implement strategies and interventions aimed at improving recovery outcomes among people who use drugs.
