Shawn Dorius named Dean’s Faculty Fellow in CALS

Shawn Dorius, associate professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice, has been named a Dean’s Faculty Fellow in the Office of Research and Discovery in Iowa State’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Dorius conducts research in the areas of social demography, social and cultural change, and research methods. Primarily, his research focuses on substance use and well-being, rural communities, computational social science methods, and translational science.
